Wes Anderson is a guy who loves his vintage fashion (remember the Louis Vuitton suitcases in The Darjeeling Limited?) and the affection appears to be mutual. Prada has partnered with Anderson to create a branded short called Castello Cavalcanti about a brash race car driver played, of course, by Jason Schwartzman.
The Bower here in Edmonton was host to a stylish event after the screening of Baz Luhrmanns’ Great Gatsby. Sponsored by the ever so elegant Moet & Chandon this party was a huge hit!
Despite the fact that I got the memo on how to dress in your 1920’s best, I came from a Junior Achievement Gala to which was business professional. That didn’t stop me from schmoozing with the other party-goers in true Fitzgerald style. Moet was inspired by the concept of The Great Gatsby movie coming out this weekend that they decided to throw Gatsby after parties from May 8-10 in cities across Canada.
Below you’ll see photos of Gatsby-Goers in Edmonton and various cities. Along with the Prada Gatsby exhibit + more!
