The Great Gatsby

gatsbyThe Bower here in Edmonton was host to a stylish event after the screening of Baz Luhrmanns’ Great Gatsby. Sponsored by the ever so elegant Moet & Chandon this party was a huge hit!

Despite the fact that I got the memo on how to dress in your 1920’s best, I came from a Junior Achievement Gala to which was business professional. That didn’t stop me from schmoozing with the other party-goers in true Fitzgerald style. Moet was inspired by the concept of The Great Gatsby movie coming out this weekend that they decided to throw Gatsby after parties from May 8-10 in cities across Canada.

Below you’ll see photos of Gatsby-Goers in Edmonton and various cities. Along with the Prada Gatsby exhibit + more!

Oak + Fort, I Love You

I think I found my true fashion companion in life. Oak + Fort. With two retail stores, one in Edmonton and the other in Vancouver, I have found a place that carries a style that is casual, dressy, and fitted all in one store. One of my favourite pieces is the Fortuny Pleats found on me here:

The ladies at Oak + Fort Edmonton have been nothing but spectacular when helping me find my perfect outfit! Here is a sample of what they have new in their online store:
